Question by MC: I need PROPER help from someone living in Ireland SPECIFICALLY Dublin?
Ok i don’t want to bore you, but im not from ireland, but have a friend who lives in South Dublin i think “Ballyroan”. I used to keep in touch with my mate alot, on phones etc even email..but their computer has broken and they haven’t got a new one so emails really ain’t an option now. Your probably thinking “why doesn’t he ring their mobile, but the thing is, i have and it looks like they’ve swapped numbers! so some old lady answered her original phone! i would say i wish they’d rung me and told me but i know they werent sure on the country code for myself etc so i always made calls to them. So i really need to contact them again soon but i have no idea how. I know their first name and surname, the college they still go to, but not their home address. Im just wondering is there anyway i could find out their address so i could write them a letter? They’re only teenagers so i don’t know if they’d come up on say a people’s search again. Please help me out guys, thanks for your time though never the less x

Hmmm if they have a house landline, you could try The Phone Book (http://www.eircomphonebook.ie/ ) and try to search based on her surname (the owner of the phone line is most likely her parents) and area where they live. There is Ballyroan in South County Dublin.
Otherwise, Bebo is a very popular social networking site among the teenagers in Ireland, so perhaps you can try to search for her name on that site? Same goes with Facebook. However, with the broken computer, she may not have access to it in anycase.
Why don’t you send her an email to ask for her new phone number anyway? She may be checking emails at her friend’s or in school/college. You’ll just have to be patient and hope it won’t be long again until she checks her emails.
I can’t think of any other way you could search for her. The college/school definitely will not let divulge any details of any students.
Good luck!
@ tommy2cans : no, the school will not forward the address – this would have broken the data protection law!
